I have had the privilige to teach medical students at GMC patiala, GMC Chandigarh & DMC Ludhiana in various faculty positions before joining CMC, Ludhiana. I am a trained assesor for Laboratory accreditation and appointed as national assessor by Dept of Science &technology, Govt of India. At present am also having administrative responsibilities and working as Deputy Medical Suprintendent. I like teaching students and be there friend than a boss.
Dr. S.M. Bhatti

In my ophthalmic career I have performed over 34,000 eye operations which include phacoemulsification for cataract, vitrectomies, squint correction, glaucoma and lacrimal sac surgeries. I have been an active member of the faculty that has trained more than 1200 medical graduates, 30 postgraduate diploma students, 63 postgraduate degree students and many allied sciences and nursing graduates. I am keenly interest in learning & teaching surgical skills through Video Assisted Skill Transfer, Community ophthalmology, Diabetic Retinopathy and Age Related macular degeneration.
Dr. Ciraj A.M.
is currently working as Associate Professor of Microbiology, Melaka Manipal Medical College, Manipal University, Karnataka, India. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Medical Education, Manipal University. As a member of the Curriculum Development Committee, Dr. CIRAJ has been closely associated with the implementation of reforms in the medical curriculum. An advocate of self directed learning strategies; he regularly conducts PBL and CBL sessions for medical students. Dr. Maya Jamkar
I am working as Associate Professor in Dept. of Anesthesiology at B.J. Medical College, Pune. I am working as In-charge Anesthesiologist in Orthopedic and neurosurgery Operation theatre at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. In addition I conduct a Pain Clinic in the same institute. I passed my M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College, Nagpur in the year 1979. In 1980, I joined as post-graduate student of Diploma in Anesthesiology. I liked the subject of Anesthesiology and started enjoying my work. After my diploma I joined as Anesthetic Registrar under post partum program and registered for M.D. Anesthesia and passed in 1985. After M.D. I joined as Lecturer in Anesthesia. I started teaching both post graduate as well as undergraduate students. Basically I am an introvert but I always take interest in teaching and learning. I had attended workshops on Medical Education organized by MIDA. My areas of interest are Photography, Reading, Trekking and music.

Dr. Navneet Kaur
I am working as a Faculty member, Department of Surgery at University College of Medical Sciences & Guru Teg bahadur Hospital, University of Delhi, Delhi since 1995 and currently hold the position of Professor of Surgery. I am a General Surgeon with special interest in Surgery of the breast and underwent a special training in “ New techniques of Breast reconstruction” at European Institute of Oncology, Milan, Italy on a UICC fellowship. I also worked as Additional Professor of Surgery at BPKIHS, Dharan, Nepal on Government of India Deputation (2005-2006). I was awarded “Breast Surgery International Travel award “ to participate in 42nd world congress of Surgery at Montreal, Canada, August 2007. I am currently working on two projects on breast cancer funded by DBT and a drug company. I also have interest in Medical Education and participated in 52nd national teacher course on “ Educational science technology for teachers and Health professionals” ( 11.02.2004- 20.02.2004) at MAMC, New Delhi.

Syed Ziaur Rahman
is a medical scientist working in the field of Pharmacology. He started the official journal of the Society of Pharmacovigilance, India (SOPI) viz. Journal of Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety. He coined the term “Pharmacoenvironmentology” for the study of therapeutic drugs and its impact on environment. He is involved with and/or member of 23 learned educational bodies including IBRO, International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), South African Pharmacological Society and Safety Pharmacological Society (SPS). He was awarded with Servier Young Investigator Award of IUPHAR in 1999 and Junior Scientist Award of SPS (USA) in 2006 apart from WHO, ISN, APSN & IPS Travel Fellowships. He is the founder trustee and treasurer of Ibn Sina Academy of Medieval Medicine & Sciences and an Associate Editor of its quarterly newsletter. He coordinated in the establishment of the Library, Museum on History of Medicine & Sciences, Centre for Safety & Rational Use of Indian Systems of Medicine (CSRUISM) & AIDS Cell as corpus body of the Academy. The Academy is listed in the Directory of History of Medicine Collections, US Department of Health and Human Services, National Library of Medicine, NIH, USA Many scholars and institutions have cited Dr. Rahman’s works.
